CarScanr Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using CarScanr and the app features made available through the service.

Acceptance

By using CarScanr, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.

Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide, activity under your account, and keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and may not use CarScanr for another person without permission.

Scan Results and Market Information

CarScanr provides vehicle identification, market values, listings, pricing insights, and related information for convenience. Results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and should not be treated as a professional appraisal, inspection, valuation, financing decision, insurance decision, or legal advice.

Always verify vehicle condition, title status, pricing, specifications, and listing details independently before making purchase, sale, repair, insurance, or financing decisions.

Photos and User Content

You keep ownership of photos and content you submit. You grant CarScanr permission to process, store, display, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the app. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit any content.

Pro Access and Purchases

Paid features, subscriptions, and one-time purchases may be handled by app stores or payment providers. Billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund rules may depend on the provider used for the purchase. Feature availability may vary by build, account status, region, provider availability, and service configuration.

Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the app, interfere with service operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not submit unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
• Do not scrape, copy, resell, or reverse engineer app data or service functionality except where allowed by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarScanr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost value, or business interruption arising from use of the app.
